On September 1, Pope Francis announced he was writing an update to his 2015 encyclical Laudato Si. In 2015 we welcomed Dr. Vince Miller, Gudorf Chair in Catholic Culture and Theology at the University of Dayton, to help us anticipate what Francis might say. We're thrilled he's able to join us this year to help us reflect on part 2. In his announcement, Francis said, "We must never forget that the younger generations have the right to receive a beautiful and livable world from us, and that this implies that we have a grave responsibility towards creation." The day will focus on that responsibility with Vince's keynote, a panel on practical ways to respond, ways to pray with nature, and an opportunity to encounter creation through a gentle, guided nature hike.
