During February 2021, Miami Valley citizens have an important opportunity to protect and restore our natural resources. Gifts That Grow is a collaborative effort of 13 not-for-profit organizations who ensure we have clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, and healthy soils to grow our food. Together we welcome more than 1.9 million local, state, and national visitors each year to the 133,482 acres of parks, forests, wetlands, and prairies we steward. We educate youths and adults, provide native plants and trees to local residents, and preserve more than 194,000 miles of rivers and streams. We are successful because of the nearly 4,000 volunteers who work with us, because we have built a community of environmental leaders who are invested in each others' success, and because of the generous financial support of each of you who understand that a healthy community relies on clean water, air and soil. We ask you to support Gifts That Grow with a financial contribution this month. Funds will be disbursed by the Greater Dayton Foundation to the 13 partners:
• Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm
• Beaver Creek Wetlands Association
• B-W Greenway Community Land Trust
• Brukner Nature Center
• Cardinal Land Conservancy
• Central State University
• Clark County Park District
• Glen Helen Association
• Learning Tree Farm
• Little Miami River Watershed Network
• Marianist Environmental Education Center
• Tecumseh Land Trust
• Rivers Institute at the University of Dayton
On behalf of all of the partners, thank you.
