Please note we're gathering on SATURDAY this year! Join us as we observe the longest night of the year with prayers for world peace and a reflective candlelight procession through the woods of Mount St. John. Luminaria will guide us through the Marianist Nature Preserve to a sunrise bonfire in the Bro. Don Geige Prairie to welcome the Prince of Peace. We take our theme from the annual World Day of Peace message; Pope Leo XIV has announced the 2026 theme as "Towards an 'unarmed and disarming' peace."
This year we are pleased to welcome Methodist Deaconess Beth Vanoli who will lead a short procession to an indoor service after the common opening prayer for those whose mobility prevents them walking the wooded trail. We'll celebrate the return of the light as a single community in two locations!
