The Marian Library at the University of Dayton received the collected papers of John Stokes, who popularized Mary gardens in the United States, in 2007.
For the past 15 years, we’ve coordinated an annual art and education exhibit in Gallery St. John, our neighbors in St. Joseph Hall. Our shows captured the beauty of Creation, illustrated environmental degradation and inspired action on behalf of our common home. More than 500 professional, amateur and student artists participated over the years. Given other demands on staff and volunteers, we won’t be hosting a 2016 show but plan to return in 2017.
