Help us remove invasive bush honeysuckle from the Mount St. John woods. Honeysuckle out-competes native shrubs, degrading habitat and lowering diversity. Because of it's very early leaf growth, it poses a special threat to our spring wildflowers. Removing this non-native pest has been a primary focus of our native ecological restoration efforts. No special background needed. Gather in the MEEC Resource Center in St. Joseph Hall.  Dress for the weather, including long pants and close-toed shoes. Gloves and tools will be provided, bring your own if you wish. RSVP by Thursday April 4 to info@meec.center or 937/429-3582. For a map of the property, click here.
