Celebrating 25 years

Land Service Saturday - May

Date:
Saturday, May 2, 2026 - 1:00pm to 4:00pm

Early May is the perfect time to control invasive garlic mustard in the Marianist Nature Preserve at Mount Saint John. Removing garlic mustard before it seeds helps spring ephemeral wildflowers survive, and we'll end with a hike to see them in bloom. We'll supply all tools and knowledge; bring your own gloves or borrow a pair of ours. Gather at the picnic bench outside the garage doors on the East side of St. Joseph Hall. Park on the South side of Sieben Hall or in Lot C. For a map of the property click here. Please dress for the weather. RSVP by Thursday prior to info@meec.center.
