Our volunteers have been very busy in September and October collecting wildflower seed from the Mount Saint John Nature Preserve. In November, it will be time for the grasses! Join us as we spend time in the Bro. Don Geiger Prairie amidst the rich fall colors of the tallgrasses. This is our last regular volunteer day until after the New Year, but it's an excellent time for newer volunteers to join in because the grasses are very easy to identify in fall. Plus, it will be a rare opportunity to go "off-trail" and wade into the prairie. We'll supply all tools; bring your own gloves or borrow a pair of ours. Gather at the picnic bench outside the garage doors on the East side of St. Joseph Hall. Park on the East side of St. Joseph Hall or in Lot C.
