'Tis the season for native plant seed collection! Many of the early summer coneflower, beardtongue and mount mint species have set seeds that are ready for harvest. These seeds will be grown out in our native plant nursery for use in ecological restoration projects here at Mount St. John and around the community, or sold in our summer 2018 native plant sale. We'll provide refreshments and all the information and tools you need - no experience necessary! Feel free to bring your own gloves and clippers if you wish. Close-toed shoes are a must and long pants are strongly recommended. If you have extra paper grocery bags, bring them along. RSVP to info@meec.center or 937/429-3582 by Friday, September 8.
