Date:
Friday, March 4, 2022 - 12:45pm

Update: Due to potential ice on the trails late this week, we are postponing our "February" Nature & Spirit Hike to Friday, March 4. The appearance of skunk cabbage in the woodland fen is a sure sign spring is on the way! We'll visit this early-bloomer and check out other signs winter's grip is beginning to loosen. The March Nature & Spirit hike is still scheduled for Friday, March 25.

This is a new monthly opportunity for Friends of MEEC donors and volunteers to spend time with each other in the Mount St. John nature preserve with staff to build awareness of seasonal changes that inform our spiritual journey. We will heighten our observation skills, using all our senses to learn about - and from - the species in our larger Earth community and their Creator. We will learn and practice prayer and reflection techniques to nurture ourselves as stewards, peacemakers, and justice seekers.

We'll gather in Lot C at Mount Saint John at 12:45 on the fourth Friday of each month unless otherwise noted. No registration is required, but we do ask you let us know you plan to attend by emailing info@meec.center by Wednesday prior.
