It's spring ephemeral season! Join us as we hike the Mount Saint John Nature Preserve in search of these fleeting floral beauties. The ephemerals, who complete the entire above-ground portion of their life cycle before the trees leaf out, include some of our most beloved species - trilliums, Dutchman's breeches, Jacob's ladder, Trout lily, twinleaf, bloodroot and many others. Join MEEC staff for a trip through the Marianist Nature Preserve to see these fascinating plants and learn all about their relationships with ants, bees and more! This is a free program, but RSVPs are requested by Wednesday April 12.

We'll gather beginning at 3:45 in Parking Lot C. For a map and directions to the property, please click here.
