Native plant labyrinth at Mount Saint John

Springtime Labyrinth Walk

Date:
Wednesday, May 17, 2023 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

The labyrinth is a sacred space to focus attention, listen to the longing of the soul and encounter the Divine. MEEC's native plant labyrinth at Mount Saint John is modeled after the labyrinth dedicated to Mary, mother of Jesus, in the Chartres Cathedral in France. Join us for a mid-spring workshop and walk where we'll discuss the Marian associations of the Labyrinth as well as its historical and contemporary usage. We'll ponder as Mary did, inviting feminine wisdom to accompany us through a reflective process of letting go, nurturing the inner life, and attentive listening to the voices of nature in springtime. All are welcome. Free-will offerings welcome. Meet at the MEEC office in St. Joseph Hall. Park in Lot C. For a map and directions to the property, click here.
