Date:
Saturday, October 7, 2023 - 1:00pm to 4:00pm

Native seed collection is in full swing. We will be continuing our collection of seeds from the summer prairie and wetland species and beginning the collection of  prairie grasses. These seeds are the valuable components to the continued restoration work here and in our local community. Please consider joining us.

Dry weather permitting, we will be outdoors collecting wildflower seed from our native landscapes and hiking out to the Bro. Don Geiger Prairie to harvest grasses. Close-toed shoes and long pants are strongly suggested.  Bring your own gloves and hand clippers if you wish. We have additional tools to share. We would welcome your extra paper grocery bags.

RSVP by Thursday, Sept 29th

Bring all you need to be comfortable on that day - your own water, insect repellent, sunscreen. We will plan to meet at the overhead doors outside the garage (St. Joseph Hall). For a map of the property, click here.
